Construction Project Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Project Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional construction projects. The Project Engineer serves as a key technical and administrative resource on active construction projects. Working alongside Project Managers and Superintendents, the Project Engineer is responsible for supporting project execution through document control, subcontractor coordination, schedule tracking, and quality assurance. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking hands-on experience across all phases of construction. The candidate would bring a strategic mindset with excellent aptitude to support operational workflows, a drive to maintain client satisfaction, and a team-oriented mindset within a growing construction company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of construction industry experience (internship experience accepted).
- Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with construction related software. Software currently utilized are: Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Autodesk Forma (ACC), Building Connected.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Familiarity with OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certification.
- Experience with commercial, institutional, or industrial construction projects.
