Position Overview
The Project Engineer will assist Project Managers, Estimators, Superintendents and Construction Manager with the administration of Interstate Concrete & Asphalt’s construction work.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Prepare and submit permit applications.
- Prepare project submittals.
- Help prepare subcontracts and purchase offers.
- Maintain project files.
- Aid field superintendents and surveyors.
- Work with construction crews.
- Track and maintain project quantities.
- Assist Project Managers/Superintendents/Estimators as necessary.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Regular and timely attendance.
- Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
- Proficient with Windows based computerized systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance and attendance.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work independently, without direct supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.
- Pass pre-employment-controlled substance testing.
Preferred Requirements
- Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or equivalent degree preferred
- Previous relatable experience preferred.
