Construction Project Accountant - Dallas, Texas

About the role

Mullins Mechanical is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. This position offers a chance to contribute to a growing company that prioritizes safety, quality, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Aid in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Record and reconcile credit card transactions.
• Support the month-end close process with the controller.
• Review and reclassify miscoded entries in the general ledger.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Prepare necessary journal entries and bank account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing for independent audits.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s degree in Accounting, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and industry-specific software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
