Construction Program Manager 3
Our client, a leading technology infrastructure organization, is seeking a Construction Program Manager 3 to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. You will serve as the owner’s on-site representative, providing leadership, construction oversight, project coordination, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
About the role
Provide construction management and field oversight throughout planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout. Monitor contractor performance, construction progress, safety, quality, site logistics, and compliance with project requirements. Review project schedules, milestones, critical path activities, and recovery plans to identify and mitigate potential delays. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve design, construction, procurement, and operational issues. Prepare project updates, reports, meeting summaries, and recommendations while proactively identifying risks and driving issues to resolution.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of construction management and field oversight experience, including significant experience working on data center or other mission-critical construction projects.
- 5–8+ years of experience with project scheduling, project controls, progress tracking, and schedule risk/recovery planning.
- 5–8+ years of experience with construction contracts, contractor management, RFIs, submittals, change management, procurement, and design coordination.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related technical field preferred; experience with Bluebeam and Primavera P6 is a plus.
