Responsibilities

  • Monitor, control, and report energy delivery risks across active lease projects to maintain clear visibility into delivery status and potential issues.
  • Proactively identify power delivery risks, schedule delays, and critical path impacts before they affect project milestones, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain structured risk registers, issue logs, and escalation tracking aligned with established delivery governance processes.
  • Support internal and external risk assessment meetings, including occasional travel to project sites, to review and address energy delivery concerns.
  • Track and manage compliance with A-2 items and pre-lease execution risks identified during statement of qualifications (SOQ) evaluations.
  • Provide oversight of energy milestone tracking for leased datacenter projects, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of progress.
  • Coordinate internally with Energy Markets Program Managers, regional delivery teams, and cross-functional construction partners to align energization schedules and dependencies.
  • Support utility outage engagement activities and assist with root cause analyses (RCA) and service level agreement (SLA) evaluations related to delivery delays or outages.
  • Participate in construction reviews of business (ROBs) and escalation forums for critical projects to address issues impacting energy delivery.
  • Identify whether issues originate from utilities, lease providers, contractors, or internal delivery dependencies and coordinate appropriate resolution paths.
  • Review and validate technical documentation such as substation readiness packages, energization procedures, utility coordination updates, transformer testing documentation, single-line diagrams, and utility/interconnection readiness evidence.
  • Serve as a key technical coordination point between internal stakeholders and external lease providers and utilities to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Partner closely with lease providers, end-to-end delivery teams, datacenter engineering (DCE), lifecycle management (LCM), operations, Energy Markets Program Managers, and Energy Delivery Program Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with Exhibit F obligations and lease-related technical requirements across all energy delivery activities.
  • Produce recurring readiness reports, risk summaries, and executive-level escalation materials that clearly communicate project status and risks.
  • Maintain organized documentation and evidence repositories in SharePoint and other program management systems for auditability and transparency.
  • Support gas generation construction projects in Texas, coordinating with relevant stakeholders and ensuring adherence to technical and delivery requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Energy Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting electrical infrastructure delivery, utility coordination, or mission critical construction projects.
  • 7+ years of experience in gas power plants, gas generation, and pipeline projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of high voltage substations and their role in large-scale energy delivery.
  • Deep knowledge of transmission and distribution systems and utility interconnections.
  • Experience with energization processes, backup generation, and behind-the-meter (BTM) solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of natural gas generation and fuel supply infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience managing delivery risks for large infrastructure or datacenter projects.
  • Prominent experience coordinating across utilities, contractors, developers, and operations teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Effective escalation management skills to address and resolve critical delivery issues.
  • Able to manage multiple technically complex projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to support gas generation construction projects in Texas, including coordination with local stakeholders and utilities.
