Job Summary
The first year in this role is dedicated primarily to construction payroll administration and workforce data management. As the Construction Payroll Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring union and non-union craft employees are paid accurately through timely field time entry, payroll support, prevailing wage administration, and labor data management across active construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Entering and maintaining accurate field employee time records
- Processing high-volume payroll-related data
- Supporting weekly payroll activities for union and non-union craft employees
- Supporting Prevailing Wage/Davis-Bacon administration by reviewing labor classifications and pay requirements
- Reviewing weekly payroll edit listings and control reports for accuracy
- Reconciling payroll and workforce data
- Maintaining equipment job cost information
- Maintaining project payroll documentation and supporting year-end audits
- Managing the Daily inbox and responding to payroll-related requests
Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll, timekeeping, workforce administration, or related administrative experience
- Union and non-union payroll experience
- Prevailing Wage / Davis-Bacon experience
- Exceptional attention to detail with high-volume data entry
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Ability to build strong working relationships with field personnel and project teams
- High level of accuracy and accountability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
