About the Role

Primoris Gas Operations offers a range of positions within their natural gas distribution market, including equipment operators, CDL drivers, laborers, pipe fitters, and utility design technicians. Responsibilities

  • Operate backhoe, skid steer, trencher, excavator, or other heavy machinery as needed.
  • Drive a commercial driver’s license (CDL).
  • Perform restoration, potholing, underground utility work, pipe fusing, pipe welding, and pipe fitting tasks.
  • Operate directional drill equipment and utility locators.
  • Supervise traffic control systems.
  • Coordinate utility operations.
  • Assist with utility design and drafting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • A Class A CDL with endorsements (preferred).
  • Previous construction experience in natural gas distribution, pipeline, electric, transmission, telecommunications, water, sewer, landscaping, concrete/asphalt, or agricultural fields.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical work in various weather conditions.
  • Travel on short-term basis may be required.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
