Construction Operations Manager (Fairburn, GA)

About the role

The role has responsibility for up to 50+ people, reports directly to the Regional President, and leads the construction/installation business across the Southeast region (Atlanta-based).

Responsibilities

• Full ownership across operations, safety & quality, project execution, materials & equipment utilization, team leadership and financial performance.
• Highest visibility role with meaningful impact as the company continues to scale both organically and through M&A.

Requirements

• Broad-based individual – step above Sr Manager or Director of Operations or exceptionally versed Sr Project Manager.
• Financial + Operational Discipline and Core Leadership capabilities are key!
• Strong knowledge of self-performing construction/installation industry including estimating, contracts, materials, equipment, project scheduling, WIP accounting and profitability analyses + acumen required.
• Background in highway construction, civil and/or electrical construction desirable.
• Knowledge of the ITS and/or Traffic Signal construction/installation industries a plus.
• Ability to run a construction team of 40-50 resources to include project managers, superintendents, and field crews.
• Responsibility of $20M+ operation.
