About The Role
Composite Steel is seeking a Construction Office Coordinator to support daily office operations for our busy steel fabrication business. This role is ideal for someone with construction office experience who is organized, responsive, and comfortable handling invoicing, customer communication, and project paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and send basic invoices and assist with billing follow-up.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal team members regarding project and office needs.
- Track and organize bills of lading, delivery tickets, purchase orders, and other job documentation.
- Support contract and compliance paperwork, including lien waivers and related forms.
- Maintain organized project files and office records.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with general administrative needs.
- Help keep day-to-day office workflows running smoothly.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a construction office, subcontractor office, or similar industrial administrative environment.
- Familiarity with common construction documentation such as bills of lading, invoices, delivery tickets, and purchase orders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Comfortable using office software and learning internal systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in steel, fabrication, trucking, or construction administration.
- Familiarity with lien waivers, subcontractor paperwork, or basic billing support.
