Construction Observer (CONABQ)

About the role

Join a dynamic team dedicated to construction oversight and quality assurance. Responsible for ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction sites to ensure adherence to safety regulations and building codes.
• Review blueprints and construction plans to identify potential issues before they become problems.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Communicate directly with contractors to address concerns and resolve issues.
• Prepare reports and present findings to project managers and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction inspection or related field.
• Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Passion for quality control and safety.

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Experience with construction management software.
• Good interpersonal skills for client interaction.
