Construction Observer

About the role

The position will be responsible for observation and documentation of airport paving, drainage, utility, lighting, structural and site development during construction. Projects could also include highways, local roads, bridges, and earthen structures.

Responsibilities

• Represent owner in monitoring construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Perform or schedule/observe onsite construction materials testing.
• Cookordination and communication of field construction activities with contractors, designers and/or owner’s representative(s).

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of roadway or airport construction experience.
• A valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include:
• Experience working in an airport environment.
• ITCP-CIPP, PACP|LACP|MACP certification.
• Knowledge of relevant agency documentation and material testing certifications.
