The Construction Materials Testing Field and Lab Assistant Intern position is located in Wenatchee and Redmond, WA. No housing assistance is available; candidates must live within commuting distance of the office for the duration of the internship. OPT or CPT status is acceptable, but a full-time position will not be offered if future visa sponsorship would be required. All applicant information will be kept confidential per EEO guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside field and laboratory technicians in the performance of construction materials field and lab testing and construction observation.
- Assist geotechnical engineers and project managers with any other aspects of field operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering, Geology, or Construction-related degree or certificate program.
- Able to perform a wide range of physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds of equipment on occasion.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
