Position Summary

Construction Management position responsible for directing, planning, and managing construction activities including subcontractors to facilitate elite execution of projects, while remaining in compliance with PACK safety and procedural policies.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Promote and comply with all PACK Safety and Quality Policies and procedures - Promote and foster team development through recruiting, training, and engagement - Frequently seek feedback to improve safety, quality, production, and work environment from team members and follow through with action items - Oversee all construction activities within contracted Scope of Work - Maintain frequent interface with PACK project team and Client to ensure all documentation complies with contractual obligations - Monitor performance indicators/metrics - Assist in development of comprehensive solutions to challenging tasks/projects - Draft and distribute daily/weekly reporting as required by PACK policy and Contract - Act as a role model for PACK’s vision and values - Build Client relationships based on integrity, communication, and trust - Manage equipment and materials in a manner to maximize profit - Work with Operations Team on resource management across projects to assign resources in the most efficient and profitable manner - Support Business Development, Estimating and Preconstruction efforts as needed.

Education and Work Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience. - Seven years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management. - Previous experience in a supervisory role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the goal of zero injuries. - Ability to organize, instruct and supervise a construction crew in all facets of construction. - Ability to estimate. - Considerable knowledge of all construction tools, machinery methods and procedures. - Must be able to forecast and monitor costs of project. - Understanding of construction methods, scheduling and blueprint reading. - Ability to demonstrate leadership, motivate workers and communicate with workers and superiors. - Computer literate in Microsoft Office email, internet, Excel spreadsheets, all documents, photos, and field time entry, as well as PACK Power’s documentation. - Ability to work well under pressure and within timelines. - Ability to read and interpret documents like safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. - Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. - Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. - Ability to calculate figures and to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. - Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math.
