About the role

The Data Center Planning & Construction team at CoreWeave is responsible for delivering a rapidly growing portfolio of data centers and critical infrastructure projects that power our AI cloud platform. We own the full project lifecycle—from site due diligence and design through construction, commissioning, and turnover, while partnering closely with Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership to scale our footprint responsibly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support project lifecycle phases for data center construction projects—from site selection and feasibility studies through design development, permitting, construction, and commissioning.
  • Manage and track project budgets and assist in securing expenditure approvals across all project phases.
  • Support General Contractor and subcontractor bid processes, including market research and contract negotiation support to ensure competitive and high-quality partnerships.
  • Cook up and coordinate external consultants and specialty vendors, including architects, structural and MEP engineers, and legal counsel.
  • Coordinate pre-construction activities, including design reviews and regulatory permitting in partnership with local jurisdictions and authorities.
  • Maintain rigorous project documentation and provide regular status updates on schedule, budget, and risk status.
  • Partner closely with internal Real Estate, Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to align project execution with organizational priorities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, real estate development, or a related field, with at least 2+ years in a project management role.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects (data center, manufacturing, or heavy industrial experience preferred) from inception through delivery.
  • Experience with project budget management, including cost forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Experience supporting competitive bid processes and contract negotiations for General Contractor and subcontractor agreements.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams, including architectural, structural, civil, and MEP disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of construction contracts (AIA, DBIA, or equivalent), permitting and entitlement processes, and applicable building codes and regulations.
  • Experience with construction management software platforms such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with sustainability standards such as LEED or BREEAM, and their application in large-scale developments.

Qualifications

  • You love to solve complex logistical puzzles and find satisfaction in turning a raw site into a world-class facility.
  • You're curious about the intersection of cutting-edge AI infrastructure and the physical environments that power it.
  • You're an expert at managing ambiguity—balancing aggressive timelines, evolving technical requirements, and competing stakeholder priorities without losing sight of the end goal.
