About the role
This role is 100% on-site in Albany, New York.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations, ensuring work aligns with quality, performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Plan and implement construction tasks, manage procurement of materials and subcontractors.
- Conduct daily site inspections, monitor progress against cost and schedule requirements.
- Maintain transparency in communication with Project Managers, owners, site leadership, and HS&W teams.
- Coordinate with general contractors, architects/engineers, vendors, suppliers, and GC partners.
- Apply knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and AHJ requirements.
- Ensure strong HS&W performance.
- Manage multiple work orders and project activities with a primary focus on safe work practices.
- Interact as a shared resource with both the maintenance supervision group and contractor management group.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of construction or project management experience.
- Degree in Construction Management or related field; OSHA certification preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with I&E projects and familiar with automation & controls.
