Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with Inspectors of Record (IOR)
• Develop and oversee testing and inspection programs
• Maintain comprehensive DSA documentation
• Facilitate field coordination with design team members
• Manage Design-Bid-Build projects, including submittal review and RFI processing
• Oversee Lease-Leaseback projects, including GMP documentation and cost control measures
• Execute CUPCCA small projects with proper documentation
• Cordinate CMAS vendor relationships and verify scope compliance
• Direct construction operations and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Implement and maintain project-specific safety programs
• Establish and monitor quality control systems
• Supervise and coordinate project teams
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
• Manage cost control systems and oversee progress payments
• Handle change order processes and documentation
• Maintain organized DSA documentation systems
• Lead strategic bond planning efforts in coordination with financial advisors
• Manage the RFP/RFQ process for consulting services, including preparation, evaluation, and selection
• Oversee construction procurement processes, including bid management and contractor selection.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of construction management experience
• Demonstrated experience with DSA projects (minimum 5 years)
• Comprehensive knowledge of field operations
• Pioneering expertise in public works delivery methods
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Advanced technical understanding of construction processes and methodologies
• Pioneering leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams
• Excellence in written and verbal communication
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
