About the role

The Construction Manager at FourLeaf is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction process related to our facilities. This position encompasses oversight from initial design through to project completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with our organizational goals and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire construction process for projects, including design development, contractor selection, and construction management.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with organizational standards, local regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Develop, manage, and track project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure that project designs meet organizational needs and are feasible within budgetary constraints.
  • Evaluate contractor performance and resolve any disputes or issues that may arise during the construction process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports on project status, budget, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and guide the work of subcontractors, consultants, and project partners, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
  • Clarify expectations and ensure alignment across all parties involved in project delivery.
  • Promote best practices in construction and project management throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, preferably within the financial services or corporate real estate sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, risk management, insurance protocols, and various trades involved in construction.
  • Proven experience in budget development and management, with a strong ability to analyze and forecast financial performance.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Certifications: PMP, LEED AP, CCM are a plus, OSHA 30 required within 6 months.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Project), Procore, AutoCad, BIM (Building Information Modeling).
