Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing plan & BVOA’s for project.
  • Participate in Partner Selection Activities.
  • Organize Project Kick-Offs & CDS Sessions as required.
  • Establish the agenda, goals and timing of sessions for the Project Core Team.
  • Support the development of the conceptual scope of work during the FEE stage.
  • Document all base scope blocks during FEE for each vendor's Target Value Estimate.
  • Optimize projects by identifying and removing waste through Lean Construction practices.
  • Develop a master schedule using the Last Planner System.
  • Review engineering documents, vendor information, and final design EI packages with the client, design engineers, and others to ensure constructability.
  • Coordinate with trade partner supervisors to review, walk down, and communicate the scope of work.
  • Ensure full understanding of the scope of work from conception to construction completion.
  • Determine estimate structure requirements for projects and validate cost estimates.
  • Evaluate quotes and bids from trade partners and suppliers, and lead change management processes.
  • Develop and maintain QA/QC plans and turn-over packages.
  • Create construction completion turnover packages and manage quality defects and punch lists.

Basic Job Requirements

  • Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and two years of work-related experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to six years if non-degreed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious manner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • If non-degreed, six years of craft, foreman, general foreman, or team leader experience.
  • Effective communication skills, including presentation and customer interaction.
  • Knowledge of mathematical concepts and ability to apply them to practical situations.
  • Supervisory experience.

Market Rate

The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, final salary is determined by additional factors such as qualifications, years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and market conditions.

Salary Range

$60,000.00 - $111,000.00
