Construction Loss Control Consultant

About the role

HETI is seeking experienced consultants with at least 10 years of health & safety expertise, particularly in areas such as general liability insurance involving construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, environmental, and fleet management risks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field risk assessments and industrial hygiene services
• Provide expert consultation on insurance-related risks
• Collaborate with a network of subcontract consultants
• Travel to various locations throughout the country as needed

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in health & safety
• Experience in general liability insurance involving construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, environmental, and fleet management risks
• Ability to travel to various locations throughout the country

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
• Professional certifications in environmental health & safety or related fields (e.g., CISSP, OSHA 10/30 Hour)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies
• Experience with industrial hygiene practices
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

• Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
