Essential Job Duties

  • Creating, implementing, and overseeing temporary wayfinding strategies that support pedestrian flow and user experience.
  • Assessing signage quality, visual appeal, and adherence to standards, recommending sign types specific to each project.
  • Managing multiple collaborative wayfinding projects with multidisciplinary teams, coordinating across various disciplines, meeting multiple deadlines under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Evaluating signage needs based on construction activities, environmental factors, and user expectations to maintain effective wayfinding.
  • Developing concepts, location plans, and proposed wayfinding paths of travel with high visual impact.
  • Planning, producing, and installing temporary wayfinding that translates complex information into easy-to-understand visuals.
  • Tracking phasing for production and installation schedules across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and a holistic approach across projects.
  • Verifying the quality and consistency of signage and wayfinding elements, ensuring visual appeal and usability across all materials.
  • Applying visual hierarchy, consistency, readability, and brand/program standards to ensure materials are clear, professional, and audience appropriate.
  • Communicating technical or field-based information clearly to both project teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Bluebeam for creating, editing, and reviewing visual materials and layouts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint) for project communication, scheduling, and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional Licenses & Certification: Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, AICP, etc. or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certifications.
  • Minimum 10 years or more experience, preferably on airport building programs or similar complex building programs.
