About the role

Clark Hill PLC is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience for its Construction Business Unit in Southern California. Location is flexible, but all candidates must be licensed in and local to California. Familiarity with construction litigation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Trial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experience
  • Strong advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A willingness to learn new areas of law

Requirements

  • Strong academic record from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Currently licensed to practice law in California

  • Experience with construction litigation is preferred but not required

Pay

The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $160,000 - $175,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.
