Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Construction Laborer to assist our carpenters, framers, and project teams on residential construction projects throughout San Diego County. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in a job well done, and wants to gain valuable experience in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, framers, and other trades on job sites
- Load, unload, and organize materials
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Demolition and site preparation work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Move materials and equipment as directed
- Assist with framing, carpentry, and general construction tasks
- Follow company safety procedures and job site standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and project managers
Qualifications
- Construction experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company
