Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction and installation of ponds, waterfalls, streams, pondless water features, and other aquatic environments
- Support excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation for construction projects
- Install pond liners, plumbing lines, pumps, filtration systems, aeration systems, lighting, and related water feature equipment
- Perform rock placement, boulder work, gravel installation, and landscape finishing details
- Absorb and assist with hardscaping and landscaping elements associated with pond builds and outdoor living spaces
- Operate and assist with construction tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, organize, and transport construction materials, tools and equipment to and from job sites
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, vehicles, trailers, and warehouse areas
- Work closely with crew leaders and team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining FFP quality standards
- Interact professionally with customers on-site and maintain a positive, client-focused attitude
- Accurately complete daily job notes, time tracking, material usage, and project documentation using company provided devices
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in the construction, landscaping, hardscaping, excavation, masonry, or related outdoor labor industries
- Experience operating construction tools and equipment - A Plus!
- Basic plumbing, mechanical, or outdoor construction knowledge preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ lbs, digging, bending, carrying materials, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
- Basic technology skills with the ability to use an iPad or mobile device for job documentation
- Familiarity with ponds, water features, landscaping, koi fish, or aquatic systems is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods as needed
Position Salary
Full-Time | $18.00 - $22.00/ hour
