Construction Laborer
About the role
Arcadis is seeking Construction Laborer to support the Butte Residential Metals Abatement Program (RMAP) Remedial Action. This position is primarily based in Butte, Montana and will support seasonal residential soil remediation work in accordance with project plans and regulatory requirements. This is a field-focused role supporting excavation, restoration, and construction activities at residential properties. Work is expected to follow a recurring seasonal schedule (typically late spring through fall), with the opportunity for continued employment during the off-season through travel assignments supporting other Arcadis projects nationwide, based on individual availability and project needs. This position offers the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated field team implementing large-scale environmental remediation efforts that directly improve community health and environmental conditions. As an Environmental Field Technician, you will work within the larger Global Resilience Business Area.
Responsibilities
- Excavation and Restoration of remediated properties
- Light construction activities
- Light Demolition including jack hammering of concrete
- Manage concrete work, painting, and landscaping
- Remedial system installs and removal
- Heavy labor to include shoveling and carrying materials up to 50 lbs.
- Installation of fencing and construction materials
- Mason Dump Truck Driver (non-CDL)
Qualifications & Experience
- 1+ years of previous experience working on environmental construction sites preferred
- Experience with construction equipment.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
