About the role
We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Construction Installation Technician to join our growing team. This specialized role offers long-term career growth, valuable technical training, and the opportunity to work on projects that support critical infrastructure. You will assist with the installation of underground tank systems, piping, excavation, testing, and site preparation at commercial and industrial facilities, working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain safe, organized job sites.
- Assist with the installation of tanks, piping systems, and related equipment.
- Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and compaction activities.
- Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and work instructions.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Measure and mark work areas according to project requirements.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, jackhammers, drills, tampers, and other construction equipment.
- Assist with concrete form setup, placement, and finishing.
- Conduct testing and inspections as directed.
- Operate and maintain air monitoring and sampling equipment in confined-space and hazardous work environments.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Support the crew with additional duties as needed to complete projects successfully.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments, including lifting 100+ lbs.
- Willingness to travel as required for projects.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass DOT driving requirements.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hat, safety vest, and glasses.
- Construction experience is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment
Work is based on customer location and needs, performed in all weather types. This position is deemed safety-sensitive, as improper performance of duties could threaten the health and safety of the employee, co-workers, and the public.

Pay
Starting wage: $20.00 - $22.00/hour.
