Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in construction inspection, construction management, engineering, or related fields
- Hands-on experience with quality control, quality assurance, and construction compliance oversight
- Exposure to multiple sectors including buildings, transportation, healthcare, education, or public infrastructure
- Proven track record interpreting plans, specifications, and contract documents to support project success
- High school diploma or GED; equivalent experience in construction, engineering, or related technical disciplines
- Completion of construction-related training or coursework demonstrating competency in relevant tasks
- OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification within 3 months of hire
- Proficiency with mathematical calculations including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry based on field measurements
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Virginia Construction and Professional Services Manual (CPSM) preferred
