Construction Inspection, Resident Engineer NICET IV

Prerequisites

• NICET IV certification or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of experience within the field of work.
• Prior New York State DOT and/or New York State Thruway inspection experience or similar experience working on bridge construction projects.

Responsibilities

Construction Resident Engineer is responsible for overseeing and inspecting bridge construction projects at various stages to ensure compliance with project plans, project specifications and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer aided project administration is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• ACI Certified
• OSHA 10 certification and knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to construction sites.

Pay

Resident Engineer Level IV, salary of $125,000.

Schedule

Hours of Work: Same as Contractor’s hours, typically 7:00am-3:30pm with OT potential.
