Construction Inspection, Resident Engineer NICET IV

Responsibilities

Construction Resident Engineer is responsible for overseeing and inspecting bridge construction projects at various stages to ensure compliance with project plans, project specifications and regulations.

Requirements

• NICET IV certification or equivalent experience.
• Prior New York State DOT and/or New York State Thruway inspection experience or similar experience working on bridge construction projects.
• Proficiency in computer aided project administration.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field (or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree).
• ACI Certified
• OSHA 10 certification and knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to construction sites.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to Jamestown area construction sites.

Qualifications

Resident Engineer Level IV, annual salary of $120,000

Schedule

Hours of Work: Same as Contractor’s hours, typically 7:00am-3:30pm with OT potential
