Construction Field Inspectors - Jr., Mid & Sr.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural systems to verify proper installation and functionality.
• Identify and document any deviations from approved plans and specifications and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Perform tests and inspections on materials and equipment to ensure they meet required standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other relevant documentation.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding inspection results and project status.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve construction issues and ensure timely project completion.
• Provide technical support and guidance to contractors and construction personnel.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on construction methods, materials, and schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural or Geotechnical or Environmental or Electrical or Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Certifications (e.g., ICC, NICET) are highly desirable.

Location and Duration

• Position Location: West Baltimore, Maryland, South of Baltimore Penn Station.
• Expected Position Start Date: 12/1/2025.
• Expected Duration of Assignment: Through March 2026 and potential 2-year extensions thereafter.
• Note: This position is not limited to day shifts. Night shifts and weekend work will be required regularly.
