Construction ERP Systems Consultant

About the Role
Cargas is hiring a Systems Consultant to support our Acumatica partnership. In this role, you’ll work primarily with construction customers to design, implement, and support Acumatica ERP solutions. You'll apply your industry expertise to analyze customer processes, deliver product demonstrations, and guide successful ERP implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and/or support the implementation of Acumatica solutions for customers
- Analyze customer business processes, pain points, and goals to design tailored, solution-oriented product demos
- Translate business requirements into clear, compelling solution presentations
- Respond to customer care requests with timely, effective solutions
- Work both independently and collaboratively within project teams
- Meet or exceed individual performance goals, including billable hours and broader team goals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in construction industry
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (e.g., job costing, WIP, billing, budgeting, GL/AP/AR interactions)
- Ability to develop deep expertise in business software sold or re-sold by Cargas, including Acumatica and related products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of business processes, systems, and strategic thinking
Additional Experience We Value
- Experience using, supporting, administering, or implementing business software within construction organizations (e.g., Acumatica, Viewpoint Vista, Sage, CMiC, Procore, Dynamics 365)
- Experience with construction accounting, including job costing, WIP reporting, project billing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Business consulting skills, including business process analysis, systems evaluation, and applying technology to support operational improvements
- Experience delivering end-user training
- Project management experience
