Construction Equipment Technician

About the role

Sanco Equipment is seeking skilled and motivated Equipment Technicians to join our service team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers' equipment remains operational and productive.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair construction and agricultural equipment
• Perform repairs on diesel and gas engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrains, and attachments
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software and service tools to accurately identify and resolve issues
• Complete routine maintenance services and equipment inspections
• Identify potential issues before they lead to costly downtime
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly and professionally
• Support customers both in the shop and during occasional field service calls
• Participate in ongoing training programs and maintain technical certifications

Requirements

• Technical degree or certification in diesel, construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment repair or equivalent experience
• 1–3 years of experience working on compact construction, agricultural, or related equipment
• Experience with Bobcat, XCMG, or similar equipment brands is a plus
• Experience with diagnostic software, electronic troubleshooting, and hydraulic systems
