Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Affiliate with the Construction Group to oversee capital projects from inception to completion.
- Engage in project teams to draft project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Attend site visits and collaborate on project schedules.
- Create detailed construction plans and outage requirements.
- Collaborate with utility company major accounts to address customer outages.
- Prepare bid packages and select vendors.
- Conduct pre-bid meetings with contractors.
- Participate in design constructability reviews.
- Create detailed construction plans, including outage dates and resources.
- Identify and address project safety hazards and environmental concerns.
- Maintain project construction schedules and costs.
- Carry out quality assurance checks during construction.
- Monitor project progress against deadlines.
- Manage construction contract closeouts and as-built documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
- At least five years of relevant experience, with preference for less than ten years.
- Superior interpersonal, leadership, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electric transmission and distribution industry.
- Experience in manufacturing, municipal, or industrial settings.
- P.E. certification.
