About the role
JMT's Construction Management Team is seeking a Construction Engineer for the Fort Pierce, Florida Area.
Responsibilities
- Assist with field inspection and oversight of construction activities
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to complete a task
- Perform data analysis and computations to provide alternate field solutions
- Absorb responsibility for managing projects and administering contracts in accordance with client specifications and guidelines
- Absorb responsibility for assisting in the preparation of project proposals
- Absorb responsibility for assisting in the preparation of engineering documents and Quality Assurance reviews
Requirements
- Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from ABET accredited engineering program
- Engineer-in-training certification
- 0-5 years of experience in civil engineering or related field
- Proficient in discipline specific software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Written and oral communication skills
- Ability to obtain Qualifications/Certifications as required by client
Qualifications
- Preferred: Degree focused on Construction Management
- Related experience
- Experience working with local clients at the municipal and state level
Skills
