We are seeking a Construction Engineer with experience supporting civil infrastructure and public works projects. This role is responsible for coordinating construction activities, supporting project execution, and ensuring alignment with design intent, safety standards, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of construction processes, project coordination, and stakeholder communication within complex environments. Responsibilities Support construction planning and execution across civil infrastructure and site development projectsCoordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure efficient project deliveryReview engineering drawings, specifications, and project schedules for accuracy and constructabilityMonitor construction progress and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestonesAssist with resolving field issues, RFIs, and design clarifications in collaboration with engineering teamsEnsure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific quality controlsParticipate in site visits and inspections to verify work completed aligns with project specificationsSupport documentation management including reports, schedules, and construction records Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or a related field4+ years of experience supporting construction or civil infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project coordinationAbility to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and schedulesExperience coordinating with multiple stakeholders including contractors and field personnelStrong communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working on public agency or infrastructure projectsFamiliarity with construction management software or scheduling toolsEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or progression toward licensureExperience supporting RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation Additional Details Base Salary: $68,000 – $72,000Total Compensation (with bonus): Approximately $97,000 – $120,000Work environment includes a combination of office and field-based responsibilities Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI.
