About the role
My client is seeking to add an Associate Attorney to their Construction Defect practice group in either their San Francisco or Walnut Creek offices. The candidate should have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in handling Defense Construction Defect cases.
Responsibilities
- Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California.
- Independently manage a litigation caseload.
- Conduct depositions.
- Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
- Review and analyze discovery requests.
- Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
- Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing.
- Trial preparation and support.
- Maintain accurate time records.
Requirements
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following practice areas: construction defect.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Must be admitted to practice in the state of California.
- Experience with motion practice and depositions.
- Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
- Capable of independent work.
- Work in an organized and efficient manner.
- Superior research and writing skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to analyze complex matters.

Pay
$115,000 - $195,000 per year
