Cost Planning
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates and budgets for all phases of construction projects.
Develop cost plans that identify and mitigate potential cost risks, providing value-driven recommendations to optimize project budgets.
Track budget inefficiencies and deviations due to design upgrades, site conditions, business-related decisions, and implementation challenges.
Tendering
- Develop contract packaging and procurement strategies in coordination with Procurement and Construction Management teams.
- Prepare and compile bidding documents and forms.
- Provide early cost advisory on expected tender returns.
- Evaluate bid completeness and cost efficiency.
- Provide negotiation points to the Procurement Department.
Contract Administration
- Ensure awarded contracts are complete, fully signed, and duly executed.
- Provide contract support and dispute resolution during the execution stage.
Cost Management and Controls
- Implement an effective cost claims and variation orders evaluation system.
- Evaluate progress claims and process payments.
- Monitor cash flow, disbursements, and contract accomplishment percentages.
Project Close-Out
- Issue statements of final accounts.
- Monitor warranty and defects liability period claims.
- Conduct cost close-out and post-mortem analysis.
Risk Management
- Ensure effective risk mitigation through comprehensive bonds and insurance management.
- Oversee all aspects of bonds and insurance procurement, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in cost estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements
