Construction Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Cover all phases of construction projects including pre-construction, permitting, design, material procurement, construction, and closeout
• Support planning of workflows, schedules, and resource allocation
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with established standards and timelines
• Maintain project logs, reports, and documentation related to construction activities, materials, and expenditures
• Track project milestones and provide status updates to management
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and construction crews
• Monitor contractor performance against project goals, timelines, and quality standards
• Perform site walkouts and ride-outs to assess project conditions, gather data, and monitor progress
• Conduct post-construction reviews to ensure quality and completion standards are met
• Identify field issues and collaborate on solutions with internal teams and contractors
• Interface with municipalities, utility companies, and regulatory agencies
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
• Review and respond to customer requests and complaints related to construction activities
• Ensure timely resolution and maintain customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in cable/telecom construction (fiber and coax preferred)
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in project coordination or supervisory roles preferred
• Exposure: Full construction lifecycle (design through closeout)
• Exposure: Telecom infrastructure deployment (aerial and underground)
• Budgeting, cost tracking, and financial coordination
• Contractor and vendor management
• Regulatory and permitting processes
