About the role
SERVPRO of Annapolis is looking for an organized, professional, and customer-focused Construction Coordinator to join our reconstruction team. This is not simply a traditional administrative position. The Construction Coordinator is an important part of our day-to-day construction operation and serves as a communication link between our customers, Project Managers, estimators, subcontractors, and construction leadership. We are looking for someone who enjoys talking with customers, stays organized when there are a lot of moving pieces, follows through without needing constant reminders, and wants to become an important part of a growing construction department.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming construction-related calls
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding their reconstruction projects
- Work closely with Project Managers, estimators, and construction leadership throughout the day
- Help coordinate project schedules and customer appointments
- Prepare, track, and communicate change orders
- Follow up on outstanding customer and project needs
- Help keep projects moving by identifying missing information or outstanding action items
- Coordinate communication between customers and the production team
- Maintain accurate job files, notes, documents, and project information
- Assist with contracts, documentation, and other construction-related paperwork
- Help track project status and upcoming needs
- Provide administrative support to the reconstruction department
- Help create an excellent customer experience from the beginning of the reconstruction process through completion
Requirements
- Excellent phone and customer-service skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Professional, friendly, and confident communication
- Ability to follow up consistently and make sure tasks are completed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, Project Managers, estimators, subcontractors, and coworkers
- Comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting to be told every next step
- Strong computer and email skills
- Previous construction, restoration, project coordination, or administrative experience is preferred
- Experience with Xactimate or insurance restoration is helpful but not required

Pay
$25.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
