Job Details

What you’ll do:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger while delivering accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to leadership
• Drive project financial success through job costing, budgeting, variance analysis, and close collaboration with project managers
• Prepare and manage WIP schedules to support accurate revenue recognition and forecasting
• Monitor cash flow and lead billing/collections processes including AIA billing, progress billing, and retainage
• Ensure GAAP compliance, maintain strong internal controls, and coordinate audits and tax filings with external partners
• Identify opportunities to streamline systems and processes, including evaluation and implementation of accounting technology

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; construction exposure is a plus
• Knowledge of job costing and WIP reporting with proficiency in tools such as Sage 300/Timberline, Procore, Viewpoint, and advanced Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to translate financial data for operational teams
• Collaborative leader who can partner cross-functionally with project managers and executives
