About the role
We collaborate with American Indian Tribes to plan, design, and construct water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily construction logs.
- Prepare weekly progress reports.
- Ensure necessary safety precautions are enforced and a safe working environment is maintained.
- Aid higher-graded technicians with construction inspection and field work activities.
- Enter data of project progress utilizing various computer programs.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- This position requires the successful completion of a federal background investigation as a condition of employment.
- You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
- At least a one-year service agreement will be required.
Qualifications
- GS-04: Six (6) months of general experience and six (6) months of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks.
- GS-05/06: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks.
