Construction Control Inspector

About the role

Join us at IHS Sanitation Facilities Construction! We collaborate with American Indian Tribes to plan, design, and construct water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily construction logs.
• Prepare weekly progress reports.
• Ensure necessary safety precautions are enforced and a safe working environment is maintained.
• Aid higher-graded technicians with construction inspection and field work activities.
• Enter data of project progress utilizing various computer programs.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• This may be a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children.
• Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
• Must have a viable bank account at a financial institution for electronic direct deposit of salary payment.

Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtaining in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks.
