Summary of the Job

Performs work as assigned by Construction Foreman.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Five years of experience in commercial construction or related fields preferred

Construction Competency Sheet

Must be competent in at least three of the seven areas listed on the Construction Competency Sheet or have at least one of the following:

Journeyman Electricians License or greater
Journeyman Plumbers License or greater
N.A.T.E. – HVAC installation Technician Certification

Essential Job Duties

This position requires driving a hospital-owned vehicle and/or a personally owned vehicle to perform the essential job duties.

Driving Requirements

Valid and current state issued driver’s license
Maintain and provide proof of automobile insurance (at his/her own expense)
Cleared driving record check

Physical Demands

Must possess good physical health
Standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time
Lifting at least 100 pounds required
Able to work with a moderate level of noise

Physical Effort Required

Constant (67%-100%): lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, handling/feeling, talking, hearing, seeing
Frequently (34%-66%): climbing (stairs, ladders, etc.), balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching
Occasionally (1%-33%): crawling
