Construction Carpenter

Position Summary

In this role, you'll support our efforts to build and maintain high-quality structures, ensuring our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. You'll be responsible for various carpentry tasks, including rough framing, wall, rafter, and stair layout, and the installation of structures and fixtures. Think of this role as a blend of craftsmanship and precision, where your expertise and attention to detail will drive our success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in rough framing.
• Knowledge and experience in wall, rafter, and stair layout.
• Knowledge of stud placement.
• Experience operating gradalls and forklifts.
• Experience working with framing crews and tight production timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow established safety rules and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Verify trueness of structures using plumb bobs and levels.
• Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props using hand-held tools, nails, dowel pins, and glue.
• Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other fixtures using woodworking machines, carpenters' tools, and power tools.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floors, trim, or hardware.
