Construction Attorney

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and administer construction contracts, including AIA agreements, design-build contracts, and subcontractor agreements.
• Advises owners, developers, contractors, and design professionals on contract compliance, project risk, and construction law matters.
• Resolves construction disputes involving delays, change orders, payment claims, defects, and mechanic's liens through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation.
• Counsels clients on regulatory compliance, insurance, bonding, and strategies to minimize legal and financial risk throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts and advising on project-related legal matters.
• Knowledge of construction law, dispute resolution, mechanic's liens, insurance, and risk management.
• Experience in the energy industry a plus.
• Active bar license in good standing in the state in which you currently reside.

Pay

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
