Construction Assistant Project Manager (Indianapolis, IN)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the creation and submission of RFI’s, and ensure that all RFI’s are integrated into the project documents
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on the lifecycle of the project submittal process
- Support with the creation, submission, and management of change orders
- Capture the progress of our work by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsite
- Monitor the project schedule and provide ongoing updates to Project Operations and Field Operations leaders
- Lead project close-out, including documentation, warranties, waivers, as-builds, and attic stock
- Become familiar with project finances, working closely with Project Operations and Finance leader
Requirements
- You have at least 1 year of field or project experience on a commercial construction site (including relevant internship experience), or a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field — or a certificate from a Construction Management program
- You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

- You’re organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detail
- You’re a strong communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across our jobsites and organization

The Assistant Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical construction projects. They are responsible for managing various aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning to final completion.
