Construction and Renovation Technician

About the role
The Healthcare Renovation Technician is responsible for the demolition and renovation of all types of healthcare spaces, including operation rooms, emergency rooms, and ICU rooms. This position is full-time and requires extensive travel, which is fully covered by the company.
Responsibilities
- Safely and properly use power tools (drills, saws etc.), and hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, hand saw etc.)
- Complete demolition and renovation duties by performing the following trades:
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Drywall
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Framing
- Mechanical
Perform manual labor
Responsible for overseeing quality assurance
Organize building materials
Prepare daily construction reports
Maintain a clean working environment
Exhibit consistently dependable, reliable, punctual and trustworthy conduct
Any additional duties or tasks provided by management
OSHA 10 Training Preferred
Must obtain basic structural knowledge and ability to install structures unassisted
Must demonstrate strong teamwork, leadership and collaboration skills
Experienced with Demolition Preferred
Must have general construction experience
Experience in one or more of the following trades Preferred: Carpentry, Drywall, Electrical, Plumbing, Framing, Mechanical
Ability to work under general supervision, may lead small projects or small teams
Ability to provide basic hand tools
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to interact with coworkers and customers in the field
Proficient verbal communication skills

- $28.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
