Construction Analyst

About the role

The Construction Analyst supports contract services programs by providing administrative, financial, and project coordination support for construction-related initiatives. The primary responsibility involves processing a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit contractor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with project requirements.
• Cook with contractors, inspectors, and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and obtain necessary approvals.
• Provide administrative support for contract services, vegetation management, transmission, and substation construction projects.
• Prepare monthly financial accruals and assist with budget monitoring and expense tracking.
• Enter project and task data into internal systems to facilitate invoice processing.
• Aid in the organization, compilation, and maintenance of construction and project-related documentation.
• Support contract administration tasks and participate in the analysis of project data and metrics.

Requirements

• Experience supporting construction projects, project management, or construction administration functions.
• Demonstrated experience with invoice processing and working with vendors or contractors.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• A dedicated work ethic and high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• An auditing background is considered beneficial.
• Experience in the power or utilities industry.
• Familiarity with contract administration or project financial tracking.
• Experience with specific industry software such as CAMP or JETS.

Skills

• Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• A dedicated work ethic and high attention to detail.
