About the role
The Connector Prep Technician is responsible for preparing and maintaining electrical connectors in various electronic systems.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and install electrical connectors according to specifications.
- Perform quality checks on installed connectors to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain and organize connector storage areas.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and comply with industry standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience in a technical setting.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and precision instruments.
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
