Connecticut-Licensed P-2 Service Plumber

About the role

Valerio Emergency Plumbing is hiring an experienced Connecticut-licensed P-2 plumber for a full-time service position. This is an opportunity for a capable plumber who wants steady work, competitive pay, professional support, and a meaningful role in the growth of a locally owned plumbing company.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose residential and light-commercial plumbing problems
• Repair leaks, burst pipes, failed fixtures, water heaters, supply lines, drains, and other plumbing systems
• Respond calmly and professionally to emergency plumbing calls
• Explain findings and repair options clearly to customers
• Complete repairs efficiently and in accordance with Connecticut plumbing codes
• Identify additional legitimate plumbing concerns without using high-pressure sales tactics
• Document every job with accurate notes, photographs, materials, and recommendations
• Collect required customer authorizations and payments
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Protect customers’ homes and businesses throughout the service call
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding job status
• Participate in a scheduled, compensated after-hours on-call rotation

Requirements

• Active Connecticut P-2 Plumbing License—required
• Residential service and repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Able to work independently and complete jobs correctly the first time
• Professional, respectful customer communication
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Dependable, punctual, and personally accountable
• Able to use a smartphone and field-service applications
• Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation
• Able to safely perform the physical requirements of plumbing work

Qualifications

• Experience with water heaters, drain service, sewer cameras, backflow devices, pumps, commercial service, or emergency loss response is valuable but not required in every area.

Pay

$42–$50 per hour, based on service experience and technical ability

Schedule

Full-time position, primarily weekday service work, with overtime opportunities and rotating after-hours and weekend emergency coverage.
