Job Summary

The Village at Orchard Ridge is seeking a Connected Living (Activities) Coordinator to inspire joy and purpose among residents through engaging programs and events.

About the Role

As a Connected Living (Activities) Coordinator, you will design and lead activities that enhance the lives of our residents, fostering connections and promoting wellness.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate a variety of social, recreational, and wellness activities tailored to residents' interests and needs.
• Develop and implement innovative programs that reflect the unique personalities and preferences of our residents.
• Collaborate with other staff members, volunteers, and residents to ensure the success of planned activities.
• Use technology and electronic documentation to manage schedules, records, and communications effectively.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in activity planning, recreation therapy, or a similar role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and event planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A creative, energetic, and resident-focused approach.
• Comfortable with technology and electronic documentation.

Pay

$17.50 – $22.50/hour (Final offer based on skills, experience, and professional background).
